| Insurance and Payment |
| INSURANCE Dental insurance is intended to cover some, but not all of the cost of your dental care. Most plans include co-insurance, a deductible, and other limits which the patient must pay. Please bring your insurance plan information with you on your first visit. Judi usually calls the insurance carrier to get an idea of what your benefits are. The insurance companies will not give us precise information over the phone but this will give us an idea of what your part of the fee will be. We will work with you to submit your insurance properly. Remember this is your insurance. Whatever the insurance does not pay is the patient's responsibility. We accept many insurance plans. Many insurance companies have many different plans with different deductibles, limits and percentages. It is the patient's responsibility to know if he or she needs to go to a particular endodontist for insurance purposes. Patients must understand the polices are their policies. FEES The fees are different for each procedure however the fees are not determined by whether you have insurance or not. Most insurance companies accept my fees, but this does not mean that yours will. Pretreatment estimates can be done, however this may be impractical in the cases of pain. PAYMENT Payment is expected at the time of service. Payment for the patient portion of the fee if you have dental insurance is expected at the time the treatment is provided. If the procedure takes more than one appointment, payment is expected at the time of completion. MasterCard, VISA, Discover and American Express credit cards are accepted for your convenience. |
